Get to Know Maddie

Hi! My name is Maddie Schizas and I am a professional figure skater from Oakville, Ontario, currently competing on the Canadian National Team.

At 16, I was the 2020 Canadian Tire National Figure Skating Championships Ladies Bronze Medallist. Despite challenges with COVID over the last year, I placed 13th at the 2021 World Championships, earning Team Canada a berth at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

It's an honour to get to represent my home country of Canada at international competitions, and I am training hard for whatever comes next. Follow along on my journey to Beijing 2022!
